Ok, so I know it’s bad when I dreamt about blogging last night. I kept having dreams about things I needed to list that I’m thankful for, and in my dream I was telling myself to wake up and write them down so I wouldn’t forget. Lo’ and behold, this morning when I woke up I had no idea what I dreamt about.
In the spirit of keeping my goal to be thankful all of November, here is today’s list:
-I’m thankful for the Chelsea Lately round table discussions because they are sometimes so ridiculously funny that I laugh out loud to myself. I especially enjoyed last night when “Maddox Jolie-Pitt” called in to the show and talked about the fake wedding he performed for Brad and Angelina. If you don’t know what I’m talking about maybe you can hulu it. I tried looking for the video so I could post it here, but didn’t have any luck.
-I’m thankful for the short moments in the day when I can sneak in a power nap, or two…
-I’m thankful for CrossFit Central; without it I would be stuck in my usual hum-drum workout routine.
-I’m thankful for massages and could really use one right now. Fat chance of that happening.
-I’m thankful for the hope of getting just one more client (ahem….)
-I guess I’m thankful for the following situation: You see someone you know or someone you once knew, glance at you for a second and then completely walk or turn the other direction, as if they didn’t see you at all.
Well, maybe I didn’t really want to talk to you either…so thanks for making the awkward conversation of, “How are you?…What are you doing now?…Where are you working?”…etc. from happening in the first place….rude, but thanks! I know you’re thinking I could take the opportunity to start the conversation, but I’m not going to go chasing after someone who ignored me in the first place. I can take a hint, and I’m thankful for that.
And now, I’ve saved the best for last:
-I’m thankful that facebook has not found a way to let you see how many times or who looks at your profile because I know we’re all guilty of “stalking” one another from time to time; maybe even daily. Don’t act like you haven’t…so for this, let’s all be thankful!
