This morning Rick and I did the following workout at the track in Fredericksburg. We usually do our longer runs on Saturday, but we wanted to incorporate some kettlebell and strength work today.  Here’s what I came up with.  I used a 16kg kettlebell and Rick used the 20kg.
5 Laps (2000m)
40 Sit Ups
30 Swings
20 SDLHP
10 Push Ups
5 Burpees
4 Laps (1600m)
35 Sit Ups
25 Swings
15 SDLHP
10 Push Ups
5 Burpees
3 Laps (1200m)
30 Sit Ups
20 Swings
10 SDLHP
10 Push Ups
5 Burpees
2 Laps (800m)
25 Sit Ups
15 Swings
10 SDLHP
10 Push Ups
5 Burpees
1 Lap (400m)
20 Sit Ups
10 Swings
10 SDLHP
10 Push Ups
5 Burpees
Rick’s time = 51 min.
My time= 51:30
(Then we decided to make it a 4 miles even; so we cooled down with a lap.)
When I made up this workout yesterday it didn’t seem that bad, and it really wasn’t…however the swings got old and so did the SDLHP (which is usually my favorite).
And then guess who treated themselves to a huge ass pancake from Sunset Grill? That’s right, Mr. Naturally Buff Bagwell while his wifey ate boiled eggs, fruit, and nuts.
