I am so thankful to be married to someone who is my bestfriend, who supports me, puts up with my silliness, someone who can act like a middle-schooler with me, someone who can take fart and poop jokes, spontaneous burps, and well all that and everything in between. 
Since we started dating over four years ago, Rick has turned into a lean, mean running machine.  I’m so proud of him and all that he does.  In the past four years he has taken up running as a hobby and is pretty darn good at it.  He has adopted some of my eating habits, eats everything I cook for dinner…even roasted beets that he really doesn’t care for.
Before you all get nauseous, I’ll get to the point of this post.  For the month of August Rick has ditched the bicep curls and routine weight workouts and is doing all CrossFit workouts! I’m really excited for him because not only will he understand how challenging it is personally, but hopefully he will get as addicted as I am and we can talk Zone and Paleo and CrossFit all day together.  Ha, just kidding about that last one.  But seriously, he’s supplementing (with AdvoCare) and working out hard.
This Saturday we did the following “Team Rehm” workout inspired by Bonita’s Tribe.
Rick ran 1.5 miles before – I ran 800m.  It was a team workout; so we split the reps in half except for the 400m Run.

200 KB Swings (my weight 25#) – we broke it up in 25’s

20 Box Jumps
200 Squats
400m Run
And to top off the weekend, he even watched 30 minutes of The Real Housewives of DC with me. Now, that’s real love.  He also did just wake up from a nap at that time; so he could’ve still been in that sleep daze, but still….
