Here’s a spicy way to kick up your grilled chicken a notch. This is one of my favorite marinades; hopefully it will become one of yours as well.

Total Prep & Cook Time: About 30 min. {You can also let your chicken marinate longer; depends how quickly you want to eat}

Serves: About 4

Utensils: Grill, pan for marinating chicken, tongs

Ingredients

Ingredients: 

  • 2 lbs chicken breast
  • Sriracha
  • Ground Mustard
  • 1 lime
  • Garlic
  • Pepper
  • Season-all (optional)

 

Directions:

  1. Place chicken breast in pan or square glass baking dish.
  1. Squeeze juice from one lime over chicken
  1. Spinkle desired amounts of garlic, pepper, and season-all on both sides
  1. Drizzle desired amount of sriracha and ground mustard over both sides of chicken breasts
  1. Either cover and let chicken marinate in the refridgerator until ready to grill or prepare the grill and cook chicken breasts about 8-10 minutes each side or until thoroughly cooked throughout.

I like to serve this chicken over my favorite salad: 2 cups of spinach, handful of blueberries, walnuts and a bit of goat cheese. It would also go great with a side of Popeye Sweet Potatoes or your favorite vegetable.
